The 9/11 Memorial Monument in New York, at Ground Zero, is the memorial to the victims of the 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and to the victims of the earlier WTC bombing on Feb. 26, 1993. The 9/11 Memorial is located on the exact same spot and has the same perimeter as the former square Twin Towers. The 9/11 Memorial is truly an impressive place, especially after dark, when the sadness that lurks here is especially palpable. He monument was opened to the public on Sept. 11, 2011. 9/11 really needs no introduction. I think everyone has heard of this terrible attack that killed 2983 people. All their names are engraved in bronze, surrounding the two huge water tanks that stand in exactly the same spot as the Twin Towers and form the heart of the 9/11 memorial.

Both the Twin Towers and many other World Trade Center buildings collapsed from the attacks or were later demolished due to the massive damage. Most trees in the Ground Zero area also did not survive the attacks, but one tree found badly damaged by rescue workers survived after proper and extensive care. And this tree that was named “Survival Tree” now stands at the 9/11 memorial among lots of other trees. The Survival Tree is a living reminder of the events at Ground Zero. 9/11 Memorial Glade

The 9/11 Memorial Glade monoliths were installed on Saturday, April 6, 2019.The Memorial Glade was designed to honor all emergency workers and survivors, workers and residents who were ovelieved by the effects of the attacks. The 9/11 Memorial Glade monument consists of six monoliths and is located next to the South Tower Pool.

FDNY Memorial Wall

The FDNY Memorial Wall is a monument designed in honor of the 343 firefighters who gave their lives in their attempt to save others on Sept. 11. The FDNY Memorial Wall is 18 meters long and 1.8 meters high, and the monument is bolted to the side of the Ladder 10 fire station at Liberty Street.

The entrance to the 9/11 Museum is located in a glass pavilion at the corner of Fulton St. Louis. / Greenwich St. in the Financial District. But otherwise, the entire 9/11 Museum is deep underground. Through which you can see parts of the original columns of the Twin Towers. In the museum, you will see impressive artifacts and hear stories from and about victims of the Sept. 11 attacks, among other things.
