There are also supermarkets with products you won&#8217;t find anywhere else in New York. Although you do encounter many tourists there, it is not a tourist district in the classic sense. Whereas the Chinatown in Manhattan often feels crowded and touristy, this neighborhood in Queens is actually quieter and much more focused on the local community. That, I find, makes it a place where you can experience real everyday life.
