Pier 25 is located on the TriBeCa side of the Hudson River Park<\/a>. And it is the longest pier in the Park. On the corner of Vesey Street in TriBeCa New York, you will find the Irish Hunger Memorial. The Memorial was built in memory of the great Irish famine that killed a million people in Ireland. In addition, it is a reminder of the connection between Ireland and New York City. The Irish Hunger Memorial consists of an area of land that looks as if it was brought in from ancient Ireland with native Irish flora and stones from each of Ireland’s 32 provinces. You will also find a reconstructed Irish stone house with quotes and poems on the walls.
